The vast, bleak, desolate moorland of Dartmoor, located in Devon, southwest England, has given rise to a number of local folk-tales and legends. Arguably the most bizarre of these stories is the legend of a pair of ghostly, disembodied hands which are said to be responsible for the unusually high number of accidents and deaths on a particular stretch of road between Princetown and Two Bridges.
